Charges: After Apple sued HTC for infringing upon 20 of its mobile-device patents in March of 2010, HTC countersued Apple for infringing upon five of its own mobile-device patents, including a power-management patent and one for a personalized dialer, as seen above.
Complex says: Many believe Apple's initial lawsuit against HTC was really just a shot at Google for trying to compete with the iPhone (HTC made the first Android-powered phone and the official Google Phone, the Nexxus One), so HTC firing back with this suit back seemed to be just a retaliatory effort—one that we can't see holding up.
