As with most RPGs, DA:O's storyline evolved to fit the moral choices you made, but you never knew quite what effect your actions or reactions would have. In one way this was great—no more morality ba!r—but it also meant that sometimes you were in the dark with regards to the consequences your actions might have. This time around, DAII takes one more cue from the Mass Effect universe and allows you to choose dialogue based on the impact that it will have. Hell, just having a main character who talks is an upgrade.
