After unceremoniously bowing out of the cellphone game last spring with the discontinuation of its KIN phone, Microsoft this morning officially announced its latest mobile phone foray: Windows Phone 7. The next-gen operating system will go head-to-head with Apple's iOS, Google's Android, and the BlackBerry OS. To kick it off, Microsoft announced over five new handsets set to go on sale next month.
