Ever since his breakout performance in The Hangover, Zach Galifianakis's been scoring prominent roles in upcoming films (Youth in Revolt, Dinner for Schmucks, It's Kind of a Funny Story). Out of them all, the one we undoubtedly want to see is the Todd Phillips-directed Due Date (out November 5), which co-stars Robert Downey, Jr.. The plot of this buddy comedy is simple: an expectant father (Downey) must get to L.A. with an aspiring actor (Galifianakis) to see his child's birth. Their journey includes car crashes, life-threatening mistakes, and other logically incomprehensible fuckeries. Just what we'd expect.
