TV Tonight: The Most Interesting Athlete of Our Generation, O. Munn on Carson Daly, & More!

Kobe's got the rings, LeBron has the endorsements, but for our money, Allen Iverson is the most compelling figure in sports, and we'll definitely check out his documentary tonight.

SPORTS/DOCUMENTARY: 30 FOR 30, NO CROSSOVER: THE TRIAL OF ALLEN IVERSON, 8 PM, ESPN ESPN's "30 for 30" series has been universally dope so far (previous episodes on the University of Miami football program and the Reggie Miller-Knicks rivalry in the '90s), but this might be the best yet: an in-depth look at the racially-charged brawl and trial Allen Iverson was involved in as a high schooler in '93, as directed by Hoop Dreams filmmaker Steve James. They could do 30 documentaries on A.I. alone, we hope this is just the first.
TALK: Ska gods The Specials hit Jimmy Fallon (worth checking for a possible Roots x Specials collab alone), (12:35 NBC), Rachel Maddow is on the Daily Show (11, Comedy Central), and some lovely lady named Olivia Munn chops it up with Carson Daly (1:35, NBC).
MOVIE: L.A. CONFIDENTIAL, 8 PM, ENCORE Like any good noir, the plot is incidental in this '50s crime drama. Russell Crowe hasn't been this cool since never.
DRAMA: LOST, 9 PM, ABC Only a handful of episodes left, and our boy Hurley is in the middle of it all.
