In his first year hosting Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the world of moonlit talk shows was rocked by a sex scandal, bad ratings, a pissing contest between two friends on his network who both wanted to host The Tonight Show, and a firing. To his credit, Fallon kept his nose clean, focused on improving his show, and became the most stable presence on NBC's late-night roster. Late Night celebrated its first birthday on March 2, so toast to its host by checking out our interview with him, in which he discusses all the drama and how he plans to survive to see many more anniversaries.
