The Coup's Album Cover Predicts the 9/11 Attacks

When Bay Area hip-hop vets The Coup prepared the artwork for their fourth album Party Music in June of 2001, DJ Pam the Funktress and "Boots" Riley thought that an exploding World Trade Center would be a good image to support their political message. Unfortunately, before they could get the album into the streets, Osams bin-donkeyman slammed a plane into our icons of American capitalism. This album cover got some email play with conspiracy theorists when it leaked, but the unfortunate concept and Photoshopping ensured that this version never got beyond a few email FW: s.

I don't think the Microsoft ad that ran in Poland is racist. Poland is something like 99% Caucasian. The advertising reps probably wanted to add a white male to the ad for audience identification without having to completely change it.

The Pen and Pixel you listed to contact for covers in "Not" the Pen and Pixel that created these masterpieces. Pen and Pixel closed it's doors in 2003. The "New" pen and pixel has nothing to do with the old one, they bought the Domain name...that's about it. If you want the original artists that did these covers, contact Smartface media.

Shawn I came across your post searching for any complaints about the company Pen and Pixel. Are you sure there is a "new" pen and pixel, and that it has no relation to the company that is well-known for making cd covers?
