Rap/R&B

Dr. Dre's classic short film and soundtrack told the fictional story of Snoop Doggy Dogg's death and resurrection. It was halfway decent, too, but the soundtrack's acclaim would overshadow the film itself, thanks to the prevalence of Dre, Daz, and DJ Quik production, as well as Dre's reunion collabo with Ice Cube, "Natural Born Killaz." Murder Was the Case sold over two million copies, and the single "What Would U Do," by Tha Dogg Pound and Snoop, was nominated for the Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group Grammy, which helped ease Dre’s pain when the Oscars overlooked him in the Best Director category.

Um, best song "Uptown Anthem"???? FOH. "Know The Ledge" might be the best rap song EVER, let alone on this kinda shitty soundtrack.

the only wes anderson movie this ist features is rushmore, and that's at 32? FOH. Tenenbaums is in the top 10. Seu Jorge's Bowie covers for life aquatic deserve a spot as well. His soundtrancks are like art (kudos, music supervisor randal poster).

More Than A Game? Drake, Kanye, Lil Wayne, Eminem-Forever? That alone makes it a great soundtrack, but it also has Drop It Low.
