You might want to turn a light on before you watch this trailer. Seriously. Following in the footsteps of independent-horror classic, The Blair Witch Project, this upcoming Paranormal Activity flick is set to terrorize audiences nationwide when it hits theaters (in select cities) on September 25. Paramount and first-time filmmaker Oren Peli will cake nicely off of this too, considering the film's extremely modest $11,000 budget, but we don't mind forking over cash for a real scare instead of predictable slasher flicks that keep disappointing us. Try not to scream too much in front of your girl if you do the same.

I saw it yesterday, and I must say it was the scariest film I've seen in years. I preface that by saying, I love horror films and see everyone that is worth its weight in salt. Many try to be scary but turn out comical. This one was a genuine thriller, that will have you sweating and wishing that the movie would end sooner so you can turn on the lights and go home. -gakcity.com
