Wake N' Watch: 'Confucius' Movie Trailer

Don't watch this expecting the excerpts of witty dialogue and snappy punchlines most of us have come to expect from movie trailers. No, the Chinese government ordained Confucius is of an entirely different ilk. What you get here is three wordless minutes of sprawling camerawork set to the tune of cinematic strings. We're certain that each minute of the trailer translates to an hour of film time, but we're not mad at that.

First off, the homie Chow Yun Fat is back to work in the starring role, and his performances usually deliver. Plus, we need a good "epic" flick to fall asleep watching in the wee hours of the morning every once in a while. For what it's worth, this looks like a prime candidate.

Tune in to Complex.com every morning at 8 AM for your daily "Wake N' Watch" video.
