Everyone loves a good movie about directionless teens. Whether you relate to movie characters who led an equally messed up adolescence or you live vicariously through them, stories about lost young people who waste away on drugs and sex will probably strike a cord somewhere within you. Look for that type of effect from Afterschool, the widely celebrated independent movie that finally hits theaters (in limited release) tomorrow. It's about a bunch of rich kids that get bored at their East Coast prep school. Naturally, the drugs come out at some point and the girls loosen up, but when two students die a cloud of paranoia is cast over everyone.
