We may be preaching to the choir, but here's something to remember next time you visit a zoo: Just because the animals are held captive in cages does not make them domesticated like your household pet. So unless you're at a petting zoo, it would behoove you to keep your limbs and digits to yourself. Or suffer the consequences.

This past Friday, a woman visiting the Berlin Zoo decided it would be a good idea to jump the fence around the polar bear habitat. Why? We're not sure; we hear she was suicidal. But luckily, for her, they were able to rescue her with only a couple bites suffered to her arm and legs. Now, just because we laughed when we first heard about another person getting attacked by a wild animal in zoo, doesn't mean we're insensitive.
