Lil Uzi Vert has been releasing music for some time now, but there's no denying that he reached new heights in his career this year. Throughout the year he found himself working with artists like Gucci Mane, Young Thug, Migos, and his single "Do What I Want" has even been placed in Jordan's new commercial starring Russell Westbrook. His come up in 2016 has made him one of the best new artists of the year.
Before the year comes to an end, Lil Uzi Vert has been met with yet another major moment. Last night, during a show in Uzi's hometown of Philadelphia, Wiz Khalifa announced that Uzi is the latest artist to be signed to Taylor Gang. After making a guest appearance on stage and spitting a quick freestyle for the crowd, Wiz Khalifa welcomed Uzi to the Taylor Gang family.
Wiz Khalifa also took to Twitter to confirm the announcement. Lil Uzi Vert joins the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, Juicy J, Chevy Woods, and more on Taylor Gang. Wiz and Uzi already have a collaboration titled "Pull Up" together, and it looks like more music from them might be very likely now.
