Video: Jimi Hendrix Plays Guitar Solo With His Teeth

1.

In this clip from the soon-to-be released Jimi Plays Berkeley DVD (out Tuesday, July 10th), Hendrix blazes through a two-minute guitar solo during the “Voodoo Child” and “Purple Haze” portions of his 1970 performance. As if kneeling and playing the guitar through his legs weren’t impressive enough, Jimi then goes axe to mouth and tears off a series of riffs with his teeth. A concert goer put it best when he stated, “He says things with his guitar, man. That you wouldn’t even need words. Right?”
