Fresh off signing Memphis rapper GloRilla, Yo Gotti’s CMG imprint continues its hot streak with the release of the new single and video “Steppas.”
The track features several members of CMG’s star-studded roster, as Gotti teams up with Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, Mozzy, and Blac Youngsta. “Steppas” arrives just a month after Gotti, Moneybagg, Mozzy, and fellow CMG signee Lil Poppa joined forces on “Big League.”
In tandem with the release, CMG has announced its forthcoming compilation album, which will hit on July 15.
Earlier this week, Yo Gotti teased the compilation on Instagram Live.
“On the real, I think it’s about time. Everybody keeps asking for it, like, you know, ‘When we gon’ do a tour? When we gon’ do a project together?’” he said. “I think it’s about time, man. All the songs we’ve been recording together. All the late nights. We got crazy, crazy, like, crazy songs, so I think we should just gon’ drop the whole CMG project on these people, man.”
CMG’s new posse cut comes days after the label added its newest member, up-and-comer GloRilla, who’s recently catapulted into the mainstream on the strength of her breakout hit “FNF (Let’s Go).”
GloRilla is the fifth artist who’s signed to CMG this year, following R&B artist Lehla Samia, Memphis rapper 10Percent, Lil Poppa, and Mozzy. The five join a talented CMG roster that includes Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, Blac Youngsta, Blocboy JB, and Big Boogie.

On July 23, Yo Gotti will be participating in a social justice summit at Center415 in New York City, organized by Team ROC and the United Justice Coalition (UJC). Gotti is part of the first wave of speakers that have been announced, which also include New York Attorney General Letitia James, MSNBC host Ari Melber, U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts Rachael Rollins, Legal Action Center President Paul Samuels, University of California, Santa Cruz professor Craig Haney, Renowned psychologist and founder of The AAKOMA Project Dr. Alfiee Breland-Noble.
The speakers will participate in different panel discussions and town halls at the UJC Summit and dissect the current state of criminal justice reform, mental wellness, public safety and more. To register, you can head here.
