It seems the rumors were true. Murda Beatz and Anitta are reportedly an item.
Sources tell TMZ the 28-year-old producer started dating Anitta several months ago and have been spending a lot of time together on both a professional and romantic level. The two hit the stage together during Coachella back in April and have even cooked up new material in the studio.
Insiders say Murda recently joined Anitta to visit her family in her native Brazil. The 29-year-old singer-songwriter, who was born in Rio de Janeiro, shared photos of their Brazilian getaway via Instagram. One image showed the two embracing each other outside, while another showed Anitta resting her head on Murda’s shoulder.
“Yes, it’s Valentine’s Day in Brazil today,” she captioned the latter photo.
Murda and Anitta have to directly confirm their relationship status.
Anitta spoke about her love life during a recent sit-down with J. Balvin for Interview magazine. Though she refused to drop her new flame’s name, she confirmed he was “famous.”
“I never date anyone and think they’re going to be an ex! I date the person thinking we’re going to get married and have kids,” she said. “I think I’m going to die with this person holding hands and we are going to be buried in the same cemetery side by side. If you’re in love, you’ve got to trust that it’s going to work.”
“Yes,” she replied.
Anitta and Murda are now preparing to release their collaborative track “NO MÁS,” with contributions from Balvin, Pharrell, and Quavo. The song is expected to arrive July 8.
