Moneybagg Yo has made public a recent text exchange he had with the artist formerly known as Kanye West about sessions for a potential Donda sequel.

In a screenshot, shared on Wednesday via Moneybagg’s Instagram Story, Ye is seen sharing a friendly “good morning fam” before later saying he’s “got to lock in” about Donda 2. “Money in front of us, bullshit behind us,” Ye said at the end of the message.

Earlier this month, Steven Victor—a key industry figure who previously served as COO of Ye’s G.O.O.D. Music label—told Complex that Ye had “started working on his new masterpiece Donda 2.”

What comes of those sessions, of course, remains to be seen. However, the Donda era is unquestionably still in progress, with this week alone having featured the release of a new “Heaven and Hell” video and the simultaneous return of the Yeezy Gap hoodie.

Meanwhile, Donda era collaborators Ye and Demna are fresh off announcing an impending “creative exploration” that will exist under the name Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga.
