The Grammy-winning artist also debuted a new music video directed by Daniel Sannwald, which features Kali’s real life partner Don Toliver. The video finds Toliver and Kali riding around a darkened city late at night, and also features SZA dancing and crooning on the top of a speeding vehicle.

“This is Latin R&B,” Kali said in a statement about the track. “This is SZA singing Spanish for the very first time, this is spooky season, this IS the moment.” The track’s original version was part of Kali’s beloved 2020 Spanish album Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios), which surpassed 1.4 billion streams and hit #1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay and Latin Pop Airplay charts. Kali’s hit song “telepatía” is the longest-running Spanish-language song by a solo act on the Billboard Hot 100 this decade, and peaked at #10 on the Global 200.

As Kali gears up to head out on tour with Tyler, the Creator next year, she is also set to perform at the 34th Hispanic Heritage Awards on PBS on Oct. 8, where she will be recognized as the 2021 Inspira Honoree. Kali also recently unveiled a new sustainable denim collection she helped design in Colombia called OBSESIÓN, which is part of her own clothing brand titled Bodied by Uchis.
