French Montana phoned in to Funkmaster Flex's show on Hot 97 Monday, and he decided to share a little bit more about Max B's legal situation. "He took a plea deal so they knocked down the years from 75 to 20," French explained, noting that Max has already been incarcerated for close to a decade. According to him, Max's release is up to his own behavior. "What they're saying is he can come home in as early as two years. But if he fuck it up, then he could do up to six," French said.

Naturally, Max B is taking the news very well. "Its like a walk in the park," French said of Max's remaining jail sentence compared to what Max thought he would be serving. "He's smiling," said French, noting that Max has "always had a positive spirit... I guess  that positive spirit really get you somewhere in life." Excited about the potential release of his friend, he added that "It's great news for the city."

Elsewhere in the interview, Funk Flex asked French about his budding romance with Iggy Azalea. "I'm just having fun enjoying life," he said. According to French, he's known Iggy for a long time and has always been interested in her, but she's been in a relationship for a long time. From the looks of her recent Instagram post, the two are getting pretty serious.
