Beyoncé's Best Instagram Posts

Beyoncé’ has earned the right to speak (or not to speak) on her own terms. After decades in the music industry, she controls her media presence through a stellar Instagram feed, where she shares her creative visuals and biggest announcements. Here are Beyoncé’s best Instagram posts.

Although Beyoncé rarely speaks to the media anymore, she hasn’t entirely left the BeyHive in the dark, wondering what she’s up to. Instead, the tour-de-force shares her commentary directly through her music, like her verse on the “Flawless (Remix),” which addresses the elevator incident, or the entirety of Lemonade. For visual learners, she shares glimpses of her life on Instagram.

There’s something magically simplistic about the way Queen Bey uses Instagram to her advantage. Unlike Twitter, where Bey has posted exactly ten times since 2009, she updates Instagram on a weekly basis, at least. Between the captionless photos, musical slideshows, and themed posts, Bey’s feed is a sight to behold. There’s a good reason comedian Jade Novah hilariously imagined what Beyoncé’s “Instagram Strategy Meetings” are like.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but Beyoncé’s captionless photos say everything for her. Whether she’s sharing a loving photo with her “delicious Blue Blue,” announcing major news straight to the fans who care the most, or showing off her latest ensemble to a catchy song, Beyoncé’s feed is one of the best on the ‘gram. As Novah says while channeling Bey, “it’s all about the details.” Disagree at your own risk: she’s got 113 million followers ready to drop bee emojis in the mentions of anyone who says different. Here are Beyoncé’s best Instagram posts.

This photo held the title of most-liked Instagram photo for a year, in case anyone forgot.

Amidst rumors about the twins’ arrival and the anticipation of their reveal, Bey introduced Sir Carter and Rumi to the world in a post reminiscent of Botticelli’s “Venus.”

Beyoncé deflected from her own Vogue cover with a photo of herself and Blue Ivy. Classic Bey.

Bey came through and posted this photo to her 113 million followers, just so that the friends of the woman in the fourth photo would believe her.

Beyoncé is the queen, generally speaking, but she’s also the queen of Halloween.

How did we not see the album coming?!

If you’ve seen the original clip, you know that Bey is playing the piano on the track while Jay records.

Aminé should have made this the official video for “Caroline,” IMO.

While we love a good “Thanks Obama” meme, we prefer a sincere thank you from Beyoncé.

After Solange made her Saturday Night Live! Debut, Bey and Tina reminded her that she’s still the baby of the family, despite her protest: “I’m 30 years old!”

In another classic Halloween post, Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Blue Ivy dressed up as Coming to America’s Queen Aoleon, King Jaffe Joffer, and Imani Izzi, respectively. But unlike Izzi, who follows Prince Akeem’s every word in the film, we know Blue Ivy is calling the shots in real life.

Beyoncé clearly has love for her Beyhive, but she showed gave them some extra loving on Valentine’s Day, when she and Blue placed faux bumblebees on their faces. That’s when you know it’s real.

Definitely not your average push party.

Never thought we’d see Jay Z in a giant pit of sprinkles, but we feel complete now.

In a rare captioned post, Beyoncé showed major love to Young Ma’s “OOOUUU” and to “everyone for all the beautiful and thoughtful birthday wishes.”

Solange’s wedding photos became that much more iconic when Bey shared this shot of the bridal party.

Bey’s epic, and often professionally shot, posts are always gorgeous, but this more intimate one of her and Blue is just as beautiful.

Beyoncé showed that it was still all love between herself, Jay Z, and Kanye West when they went to the New York stop of The Life of Pablo tour.

After the elevator incident, Solange deleted all the photos of herself and Beyoncé from her Instagram page. A year later, Beyoncé shared a photo of herself with Solange, and all was right with the world again.

Now we know how Beyoncé looks like that.

Jay may be the Clyde to Beyoncé’s Bonnie, but Blue Ivy is the Michael to her Janet.

What’s better than one icon? Two. RIP Aaliyah.

Although the Beyhive was living for Bey’s pixie cut, her mom, Tina, wasn’t exactly a fan.

Another less-staged Instagram post from the queen—beach body goals.

Feliz navidad, y’all.
