After years of anticipation and a handful of singles, Halsey has finally delivered Manic—the follow-up to her 2017 platinum album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom.

The 25-year-old singer has described the project as "a very, very personal conversation," in which she reveals deeper dimensions of her true self.

"It’s part of the reason I’ve been using a lot of Ashley (her birth name) talk in this album, because it does feel very much like a look behind the curtain in a way," she said during an intimate September event at the Grammy Museum. "A curtain I never intended to put up, but it’s just kind of there, because I was young and scared of showing—I didn’t know who I was deeply, so it was irresponsible for me to tell the whole world, ‘This is who I am!’"

Manic spans 16 tracks, including the previously released singles like “Without Me," "Clementine," "Finally // Beautiful Stranger," and, most recently, "You Should Be Sad." The effort also features contributions from BTS, Suga, Dominic Fike, and Alanis Morissette.

You can listen to Manic now on Apple Music and Spotify.

Halsey will serve as the Saturday Night Live musical guest on the Jan. 25 episode hosted by Adam Driver.
