Not3s is back and he's switched things up and taken a slightly different approach with "Wanting". The production, which comes from Scribz Riley (whose past credits include productions for Cardi B, Khalid and Ella Mai), is a somewhat darker than we're used to from Not3s, giving things a slightly moodier, more late night vibe. It will, of course, be an inevitable hit (Annie Mac just named it her Hottest Record In The World), but it is good to hear a bit of a change of pace from Not3s. What's more is festival season is still a couple of months away so he may even drop another singalong banger between now and then.
Speaking with Complex via email, Not3s said: "I've taken a bit of time out, but I'm back and really excited about my new song 'Wanting'—shout out Scribz Riley on production. It's a new chapter for me, and the start of a lot of new music I have coming. I want this to be one of the tracks of the summer."
