This summer, West London singer-songwriter Hope Tala will release Sensitive Soul, the sequel to last year's Starry Ache EP. In advance of that, she's just shared one of the new EP's singles, "Lovestained", a delicate and thoughtful piece of songwriting that comfortably lives up to the project's title. Over the nimble guitar riff and the subtle rhythm section, Hope sings a relatable tale of wanting someone you care about to open up so that things can progress. Fans of the debut EP will no doubt already be watching for this one, but everyone else can get up to speed below.

Speaking with Complex via email, Hope told us: "'Lovestained' sits in the grey area between infatuation and love, when you just want the person you're interested in to give you a little bit more of themselves so that you can let yourself fall for them."
