Noname started 2019 on a strong note with the release of her politically charged record called "Song 31." Three months later, the Chicago rapper has returned with it's equally solid follow-up, appropriately titled "Song 32."

Noname confirmed the track's release date exactly one week ago, along with a message that hinted at her hiatus.

"After I put out 'Song 32' I’m laying low for a while," she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "I ventured off from my initial goals and it's time to get back to them. Thanks for all the love and support along the way guys. I know I joke at my shows a lot but yall mean so much to me."

You can stream "Song 32," produced by Phoelix, on Apple Music/iTunes or via Spotify below.

Hours after the single's release, Document published Lakeith Stanfield's in-depth interview with the 27-year-old artist. Noname discussed her come-up, the Chicago music scene, her decision to remain independent, and her views on celebrity.

"I feel like it’s not natural for a human being to be so greatly idolized and to have these obscene amounts of money," she said. "I don’t ever want to sign a label! I don’t ever want to get closer to fame or to that kind of money!"

"Song 31" and "Song 32" mark Noname's first releases since her 2018 debut album Room 25. The MC is currently overseas for the project's supporting tour. You can check out her full tour schedule, including a stop at the 2019 Governors Ball in NYC, below.
