A third defendant in the 6ix9ine case has pleaded guilty. On Tuesday (April 2), Jensel "Ish" Butler followed in the footsteps of Kifano "Shotti" Jordan and 6ix9ine himself in admitting guilt in the racketeering case.

According to court documents obtained by Complex, Butler pleaded guilty to one firearms offense linked to an April 3, 2018 robbery in Midtown Manhattan. 6ix9ine and Jordan had also previously confessed to involvement in the incident.

The robbery, as specified in the case's original indictment, took place around West 40th Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan. 6ix9ine's former friend Scum Lord D!zzy, the founder of Scum Gang, was robbed of his backpack. In addition to Butler, 6ix9ine, and Shotti, the case's latest indictment alleges that Roland "Ro Murda" Martin, Denard "Drama" Butler, and Faheem "Crippy" Walter were also involved. Proceeds from the robbery, including D!zzy's "Scum" backpack, were found during a raid by authorities at an apartment 6ix9ine was renting back in September 2018.

The crime Butler pleaded to, according to the latest indictment, is that he "knowingly did use and carry firearms, and in furtherance of such crime did possess firearms, and did aid and abet the use, carrying, and possession of firearms, some of which were brandished." The count carries a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison, though the actual sentence will be set by the judge. The plea agreement stipulates, however, that "neither a downward nor an upward departure" from the five year term "is warranted."

Butler's sentencing is scheduled for July 18.
