Pay It No Mind 2, the new 10-track project from L.A. producer DJ Dubplates and Bad Taste Records boss Lean Low, is dropping officially later today — but, in advance of that, we've got the whole thing for you right here. The project comes as the sequel to the pair's 2017 first edition, and builds on the London-meets-L.A. vibe with the former represented in the thundering bass lines and off-kilter rhythms, while the latter makes itself heard in the colourful bursts of soul and jazz melodies.

Right from the get-go, "Summer Swisha" kicks things off exactly as the name suggests, with shimmering melodies and plenty of low-end funk, signposting everything that's about to come. Much of the tape, as its predecessor said, is built for you to "zone out to in your whip or at the crib with a glass of Crown Royal and a Cali kush blunt to hand," but tracks like "MXL" and "Dragon Queen" provide some unexpectedly club-ready moments. Not only that, but even the most chilled tracks on the project have bags of opportunities for rappers and MCs looking to make their mark on something out of the ordinary.
