In one of the best drops of the week, on-the-rise London rapper Swarmz kicks his year off with a new melodic street anthem entitled "Bally". Crafted by production collective Da Beatfreakz, "Bally" is a sliced-up mixture of bouncy, melody-driven rap with a hard-lined lyrical edge. Tapping Tion Wayne (who just entered the charts at No. 25 with his NSG collab "Options") for a verse, the North London rapper continues where he left off last year after regaining his freedom and tearing through several big features and solo drops.
The follow-up to last summer's huge debut single "Lyca", which is currently sitting on 17 million views, Swarmz continues to step in the right direction for 2019. Watch the Kaylum Dennis-directed video for "Bally" above.
