Here's a surprising one for you.
Taking a break from the usual low-end thunder of his grime productions, Ruff Sqwad mastermind and grime scene hero Prince Rapid has switched things up dramatically for his new single with vocalist Wande Coal. "The Right One" sees Prince Rapid craft a blissful, carnival-ready instrumental with far more melody and colour than we're used to from him (although this year's "Fresh And Clean" was a hint of what was to come). Capping the track off is Nigerian singer Wande Coal, aka King Coal, who doubles down on the melody with some infectious and charismatic vocals.
It may be a dramatic change for Rapid, but we could see this new sound working out very well for him.
