Alright Ariana stans, it’s time to cut. it. out. 2018’s queen of pop is asking fans to stop bullying her ex Pete Davidson, following his return to social media last week.

On Monday, Pete shared an emotional message addressing his online harassment, writing, "I've kept my mouth shut. Never mentioned any names, never said a word about anyone or anything. I'm trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the whole entire world just trashes him without any facts or frame of reference."

It’s fairly obvious the 25-year-old is referencing his recent split with Grande. Their breakup, in conjunction with her No. 1 anthem “Thank U, Next,” has once again galvanized fans to attack Davidson on a variety of platforms.

“I've been getting online bullied and in public by people for 9 months,” he continued. “I've spoken about BPD and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don't want to be on this earth. I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won't. I'm upset I even have to say this.”

Grande is now backing up her ex and telling fans to be “gentler” online in a message posted to her IG story.

"I know u already know this but I feel I need to remind my fans to please be gentler with others," she wrote. "I really don’t endorse anything but forgiveness and positivity. I care deeply about Pete and his health. I’m asking you to please be gentler with others, even on the internet."

The singer goes on to express how much she still cares about Davidson. "I will always have irrevocable love for him and if you’ve gotten any other impression from my recent work, you might have missed the point,” she wrote.

Grande’s manager Scooter Braun also defended Pete when online bullying from Ari stans got heated last week. After one fan wrote, “Ur cancelled tysm for breaking with Ariana bc she's doing much better BYE," Braun decided to step in and shut down the hate. “Stop the bullshit,” he wrote. “It is nothing like that and Pete is a good dude. No one has hate for this guy and he is a stand up guy. Show respect because trust me everyone on this side knows he deserves it and wishes him well.”

Bullying from Grande’s fans is the reason Davidson left social media in the first place, even while they were still dating. It’s about time the negative Arianators chill tf out and move on. Thank u, next!
