Premiere: The Lox Drop Video for New Rockwilder-Produced Track "Never Over"

The Lox want to send a message on how they feel about the current state of hip-hop with their latest track.

With their new song "Never Over," Yonkers' own The Lox wanted to make a statement on how they feel about the current state of hip-hop.

"The record was necessary in today's watered down hip-hop," the group—Sheek Louch, Jadakiss, and Styles P—told Complex in a joint statement Friday. "We wanted to bring that classic sound back, along with legendary producer Rockwilder." Up top, catch the exclusive premiere of the group's new "It's Never Over" video, directed by Gerard Victor.

Following the new video's release, the Lox will be kicking off a run of shows celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut studio album Money Power & Respect, which dropped via Bad Boy back in 1998 and featured the singles "If You Think I'm Jiggy" and the title track. The album is also notable for the Jadakiss solo cut "All for the Love," produced by the incomparable Swizz Beatz.
