Countless celebrities have been sharing memories about Aretha Franklin, who passed away yesterday.

This includes Ariana Grande, who paid tribute to the Queen of Soul with a performance of "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" with the Roots on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The 25-year-old singer, who today released her fourth studio album, Sweetener, talked about the times she interacted with the music legend.

"I met her a few times. We sang at the White House and she was so sweet. And she was like so cute. She really is. I was like 'How are you a real person?'" said Grande. "It's an honor to have met her and we're gonna celebrate her."

She also spoke about a time she got a call from the Queen of Soul, herself.

"So she called me. She called me one time. This is one time only, called me. And she goes 'Hi, it's Aretha.' And I was like 'Franklin?'" explained Grande. "So I was like 'How are you?' She was like 'I'm good, I'm good. You know my grandson or nephew...' I don't remember which one it was 'cause it was Aretha Franklin on the phone, and I didn't know what was happening. She was like 'He's an artist, I want to send you some music,' and I was like 'Oh my God, I'd be honored to listen.' Like, 'Thank you for thinking of me. Like send it. Just, like, text me the MP3 or something.' And she was like 'Well, I don't know how to do that so I'm gonna send it to you.' And like four months later, I got a package with like a CD. It was nice, it was great."

While on the late-night talk show, Grande also spoke about her new album, texting Madonna, and her fiancé, Pete Davidson.
