Australia-based R&B artist Blasko is back with the second single from his forthcoming Blasko In Love Pt.1 mixtape (due later this summer on Majestic Casual). The new single, "Know You Better" (which drops June 22), is a summery, funk-tinged slice of soul and R&B, heaven-sent for the heatwave that's supposedly on its way. Fans of the tape's first single, "Ms. Love", will be pleased to her a continuation of the smooth, groove-laden songwriting, as well as the even more infectious hook that sits at the track's heart.
Discussing the meaning behind the track, Blasko explained, "'Know You Better' is about the woman who makes me whole and makes me feel like I'm home, like I belong somewhere... knowing someone in their fullest can be quite scary and overwhelming, but I think that's what is necessary for longevity and this song represents long-term passion and love."
