6ix9ine Now Being Investigated for Chief Keef Shooting

Police are investigating 6ix9ine to figure out if he played any role in the attempted Chief Keef shooting that went down in New York this month.

Police are investigating 6ix9ine to figure out if he played any role in the attempted Chief Keef shooting that went down earlier this month. According to TMZ, the NYPD wants to know if the rapper born Daniel Hernandez ordered the hit or has any connection to the two suspects directly involved in the shooting.

At the beginning of June, Keef was shot at outside of the W Hotel in New York City at around 5 a.m. The shooters missed the rapper and quickly fled the scene. The two suspects linked to the shooting were stalking Keef earlier that day, first at China Chalet restaurant, before following him back to the hotel. When Keef went outside to smoke a cigarette, the suspects opened fire.

A few days after the shooting, 6ix9ine denied any involvement, blaming Sosa for the incident. “He’s a gangsta rapper. He promotes violence. So, I guess he has a lot of beef on the streets; I don’t know who he’s beefing with that wants to hurt him, but it’s definitely not me. I’m actually a fan,” 6ix9ine said during an interview onTMZ Live. “I’ve never shot a gun in my life, to be honest with you.”

But he’s definitely no fan of the Chicago legend. In the weeks since the shooting, 6ix9ine has trolled Sosa on social media a number of times. He took shots at Keef while handing out meals and cash to the homeless on the streets in Chicago. “We’re in fucking Chicago, you know what I’m saying, we’re going to feed the homeless or whatever,” the rapper said in an Instagram video at the time. “I got 15 burgers here. Giving back to the community, because other Chicago rappers don’t give back.”

Keef responded to the diss shortly after.

6ix9ine also took one of Keef’s baby mamas out on a shopping spree à la 50 Cent. “This Chief Keef baby momma. I’m out here in New York, and guess what? That n***a don’t do shit for his fucking kid,” Slim Danger said in a video of her outing with 6ix9ine.

It remains to be seen if police will find anything criminal about Tekashi’s feud with Keef, or if the 22-year-old is genuinely just a troll.
