Julia Michaels, one of the industry's leading songwriters and recent Grammy nominee as an artist in her own right, has another hit on her hands with "Jump." The Trippie Redd-featuring new single dropped Friday and is presumably the first official cut off her debut studio full-length.

"I want to thank all involved for making this happen!" Michaels said on Instagram early Friday, shouting out Redd and the rest of the extended team behind the "Jump" track and accompanying lyric video. "Proud to surround myself with all of you lovely humans," she added.

Last July, Michaels released her Nervous System EP through Republic Records. The EP included the hits "Uh Huh" and "Issues," which earned a nomination for Song of the Year at this year's Grammys. "Every artist dreams of being nominated for a Grammy," Michaels toldBillboard of the nominations. "I was really nervous. I'm such a pessimist, I was like 'It's not going to happen, I want it to happen but it's not gonna happen.'"

Trippie Redd, who recently appeared on Lil Yachty's Lil Boat 2 cut "66," has recently been teasing new music all over his social media. In recent months, he's appeared in a number of music video collabs including "Dark Knight Dummo" with Travis Scott and "Wish" with Diplo.
