After returning home from a nine-month stint in prison for weapons charges this January, Kevin Gates has shared Chained to the City, which features three new songs.
The release comes as a surprise to fans, without an announcement ahead of time, but Gates did tease a series of new music clips on Monday. He also seemed to hint at a release date that coincides with the beginning of Ramadan in an Instagram post on Tuesday evening: "We got our date."
