James Blake hosted another episode of his BBC Radio 1 residency on Thursday, which has often served as a place for him to release new music.

Dropping his first solo song since January's "If the Car Beside You Moves Ahead," Blake blessed the show with "Don't Miss Me," a haunting, introspective cut built on minimalist piano-heavy production. According to Pitchfork, the track is a collaboration with Mount Kimbie’s Dominic Maker.

After the BBC show aired, Blake uploaded "Don't Miss Me" to YouTube with an accompanying iPhone notes screen recording, which highlights the song's existential lyrics. You can watch and listen below.
