Jaden Smith Debuts Unreleased Track During Rolling Loud Performance

During his performance at Rolling Loud, Jaden surprised the crowd with a performance of an unreleased track.

Jaden Smith performed an unreleased track during his set at Rolling Loud on Saturday. “This song is unreleased,” Smith said, putting the crowd on notice before jumping into the bass-heavy song, which you can check out below.

This unreleased track could be part of his sophomore album ERYS, which Jaden stated back in December would be dropping in 2018. The announcement was made less than one month after SYRE was released.

ERYS is the title of his 2017 debut album SYRE in reverse. In an interview with Complex, Jaden revealed how the idea of naming the project SYRE basically came to him out of nowhere. “SYRE really just came to me one day. I didn’t know what I was going to call the album, but one day it really really came,” he said. “I don’t know what happened. It was like a switch—from one second to another, my whole life switched. I realized that Syre was the answer, what I had to move forward with.”

Smith revealed in December that he planned to release a “Full Acapella Bonus Album” of SYRE in addition to ERYS this year. It looks like 2018 will be a busy time for Jaden, and judging from the unreleased track heard at Rolling Loud, we have some bangers coming our way. And maybe, just maybe, sooner than you think.
