Thursday, Jennifer Lopez dropped off her new single "Dinero" featuring Cardi and DJ Khaled. Production was handled by Tommy Brown, Yei Gonzalez, and Mohombi Moupondo. Stream the latest J. Lo single via YouTube above and/or Apple Music below.
"Dinero" follows last month's "El Anillo," a track inspired by Lopez's relationship with Alex Rodriguez. During her Tonight Show appearance last week, Lopez elaborated. "The song is definitely about that, it is," she told host Jimmy Fallon. "But I felt like it's something that all women get to a point where they say, 'OK, what's up?'"
Lopez recently landed in Time magazine's annual rundown of the most influential people on the planet. The resulting article was penned by Kerry Washington, who recalled the power of watching Lopez perform when she was a young kid in the Bronx. "We were in awe of our neighborhood role model and phenom," Washington said. "When Jennifer left the Bronx to pursue her dreams, I would rush to finish my homework on Sunday to watch her on In Living Color." Lopez, Washington added, made her believe that a person "could come from where we came from" and achieve greatness.
