Walmart Yodeling Boy Mason Ramsey Signs Deal With Atlantic Records and Shares Debut Single "Famous"

Mason Ramsey is making moves.

Mason Ramsey, the 11-year-old boy who yodeled his way into America’s heart, has just reached another career milestone.

On Thursday night, the toe-tapping, cowboy hat-wearing kid released his long-awaited debut single appropriately titled “Famous.” The record arrives just weeks after Mason exploded out of anonymity with the now-viral video of him singing in an Illinois Walmart. Don’t act like you’re unfamiliar:

Since then, Mason has not only become one of 2018's biggest memes, he's also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Showand performed at Coachella.

The fact that this kid was able to accomplish all of this within a relatively short time is pretty impressive; however, it seem’s Mason’s winning streak is far from over. In addition to releasing “Famous,” the yodeling kid has also inked a contract with Atlantic Records and Big Loud. The labels confirmed this shortly before the single dropped Thursday night.

“I’d been to Nashville a few times before, but never thought something like this would happen,” Mason said in press release. “It’s a dream to sign with Atlantic and Big Loud. I loved recording ‘Famous’ and can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

You can listen to the new track now on Apple Music and iTunes. It's also on Spotify.
