Video Shows Belly Being Punched by Security During the Weeknd's Coachella Set

Someone caught Belly getting punched by security on video.

While the Weeknd took the stage at Coachella to perform "The Hills" for his second headlining performance, XO member Belly was getting punched in the face by security staff of Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella.

In a video obtained by TMZ, several people in red shirts that read "IPS Event Staff" are seen taking turns throwing punches at the rapper and another unidentified man. It's unclear what prompted the altercation.

Belly later went to Twitter to address the incident—and his attackers.

"20 of you pussies couldn’t take me off my feet 😴😂," read one of his tweets. "no negative bullshit can steal my joy.. I performed the best show of my life, on 4/20 at Coachella ‼️I really came from nothing, and I’m still here.. it’s gotta mean something," read another.

Belly was also all smiles in his Instagram Stories as he shared a photo of himself with his grill alongside an emoji equivalent of the Kanye Shrug. He also shared his aforementioned tweet about "negative bullshit."

The rapper, who collaborated with the Weeknd on the 2015 song "Might Not," performed at the music festival earlier that day. And it doesn't seem like the incident slowed down his hustle either. He even called it the "best night of [his] life."

Earlier today, he went to Instagram to thank Playboy for a "dope interview and photo shoot" which will hopefully shed more light on the ordeal.
