Swae Lee Drops New Track "Guatemala" f/ Slim Jxmmi

The record will appear on Swae's upcoming solo LP, 'Swaecation Vol. 1.’

It’s been a minute since Swae Lee began teasing his debut solo album, Swaecation Vol. 1, which was expected to drop in early 2018. Though we’ve yet to receive an official release date for the project, Swae continues to build anticipation with the release of a new track called “Guatemala,” featuring his Rae Sremmurd partner Slim Jxmmi.

The 22-year-old Mississippi rapper announced the single on social media, sharing its official cover art as well as a snippet.

Earlier this week, Swae began teasing a follow-up to his 2017 “Unforgettable” track with French Montana. It’s unclear if “Guatemala” was the record he was referring to, but the timing and song’s overall summer vibes suggests it is the “Unforgettable” sequel.

Swae and Jxmmi are now preparing to drop their triple disc SremmLife 3 project, which will include the rappers’ solo LPs as well as a joint album.

“When it come out, it's gonna change the world,” Swae told Rolling Stone about the project. “I'm about to make a major statement. I'm about to take a massive shit. Everyone's gonna hear this album and know that real rock stars lived on the Earth at the same time they did.”
