Xavier Mayne has taken a break from his folk project The Young Art and has teamed up with Chase Atlantic for his new song "Shleepin". The visuals for "Shleepin" take place in the realm of a densely-coloured nightclub, as Xavier explores the excessive behaviour and vices triggered by isolation.
The dark subject matter is juxtaposed by the bright, anthemic synths and jittering 808s, all of which serve as a bubbly shroud over a sense of loneliness. Mayne and Atlantic's ability to contrast personal messages with powerful melodies makes for a truly conscious jam.
