Logic Reportedly Files for Divorce

Logic and Jessica Andrea had been married for two years.

After announcing their separation last month, rapper Logic has reportedly filed for divorce from his wife of two years, Jessica Andrea.

TMZ reports that Logic submitted the divorce papers on Thursday in Los Angeles. Speculation about the split grew earlier this year when fans noticed Andrea unfollowed Logic on social media. The two showed up to the Grammys together in January where Logic was nominated for two awards, so it's unclear when the split actually went down. The pair took to social media in March to share news of their separation in a joint statement and stressed there was no bad blood between the two of them. "After two years of marriage, we have come to the loving conclusion that we are much better as friends," the statement read.

The former couple hit back against rumors of infidelity and strife as the reason for the breakup. “It’s very simple: it just didn’t work out. There is no anger involved,” the statement said. “No fighting, no cheating, no nothing. We love each other and will continue to support each other for the rest of our lives.” The pair married in 2015.

While the dust settles in his personal life, Logic has been hard at work. He recently shared that he wrote a comedy that would start shooting this year, as well as two novels.
