Ciara Is Reportedly Seeking to Change Future's Visitation Rights

Ciara claims Future has repeatedly bailed on scheduled visitations with their 3-year-old son.

The Future vs. Ciara drama continues.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the 32-year-old singer is accusing her ex-fiancé of being an absentee father. Ciara reportedly claims the rapper has repeatedly skipped scheduled visitations with their 3-year-old son, Future Zahir Wilburn, resulting in emotional and physical distress.

The complaint states the “Mask Off” artist has missed about 37 percent of his assigned visits and that he usually bails at the last minute. Ciara says Future’s behavior has not only inconvenienced her, it’s also had a big impact on their child.

The singer claims little Future struggles from health issues, which have been exasperated by the frequent cross-country flights to Georgia, where her ex lives. Furthermore, Ciara claims that when her son is living in Georgia, he spends most of the time with his grandmother and great-grandmother, rather than his father.

Ciara is now seeking a mediator to change Future’s visitation rights.

The former couple became engaged in October 2013 and officially called it quits in August 2014. Ciara then began dating Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson several months later and eventually tied the knot in the summer of 2016. The Goodies singer and NFL star welcomed their first child one year ago.
