Cardi B has just dropped "Drip" featuring her QC matesMigos.
The new single follows up last week's "Be Careful." "Drip" is one of the more sparsely produced of her recently released tracks, featuring Cardi and Migos riding off bouncing percussion and a whistling flute riff. After the scorned romance of "Be Careful," Cardi gets back to her bully talk, saying she has to work on her anger—lest she "kill a bitch with her fingers"—and boasting she'll "run through your hood like, 'Bitch I'm the mayor.'" Mayor Bardi is also abstaining from buying more Gucci, because she's running out of hangers. Migos close out the party with Takeoff sounding especially in his pocket.
"Drip" drops during a week that's been nearly nothing but good news for Cardi B fans. She dropped the lavish video for "Bartier Cardi" on Monday, and on Tuesday, it was announced that the regular degular girl from the Bronx would be the first Tonight Show co-host.
