Brooklyn rapper Desiigner is reportedly being sued for defamation by a woman he put on blast in August via Instagram. According to TMZ, a woman named Jessica Brown is suing the rapper for a post where he called her a "fraud" who is committing "college scams." Brown claims she was simply helping Desiigner’s sister get into college.

The post, which has since been deleted, read the following:

THIS GIRL IS A FRAUD. TRIED TO SCAM ME INTO PAYING FOR MY SISTER TO GET INTO HOWARD UNIVERSITY AND NOW SHE IS TRYING TO HOLD MY SISTERS BELONGINGS. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HER AND HER COLLEGE SCAMS!! WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THE SCAMMERS @daddys_girl202 @collegegurljb

Brown is the president of College Gurl, a company thats mission is to “ensure that students and families are well informed about the programs, policies, and strategies that result in making the best-informed decisions around financing a college education,” according to its website. She claims that she is not a scammer but helped Desiigner’s sister Siera Shelby get into Howard University through her program.

In response to the claim that she was holding his sister’s belongings, Brown says she helped Shelby get a storage unit while she was at Howard. Shelby then left Howard and her stuff behind in the unit. Brown claims she tried to help return her belongings but was told Shelby no longer wanted them. Shortly after, Desiigner got involved and dragged Brown on Instagram for all his 1.5 million followers to see.

Brown is suing the rapper for defamation and invasion of privacy.
