Any video that begins with a warning about "very strong language" and "adult themes throughout" is generally worth a watch. With that in mind, BBC Radio 1Xtra has released a new 12-minute video featuring a fresh freestyle form Waka Flocka and Loudiene a.k.a. Your Local Shooter.
During the 12-minute clip, Waka raps of achieving "greatness when I bless the mic" and mourns the "kids dying." Eventually, Waka lands on a chorus-verse structure built around the promise of "throwin' bottles in this bitch" over Da Beatfreakz and Giggs' "Swingin' in Da Whip."
Catch the freestyle in full up top. Confusingly, despite that aforementioned warning, censors are sporadically used throughout the video.
Last week, Waka unveiled the Brick House Boyz EP alongside Zaytoven and Big Bank. The project arrives ahead of the anticipated release of Waka's long-teased Flockaveli sequel, which has apparently been plagued by misplaced hard drives.
Previously on their international run, Waka and Loudiene dropped off a freestyle on Tim Westwood's Capital Xtra show in which Waka asserted he’s not from the "era full of codeine." In the accompanying Westwood interview, Waka dubbed himself the grandfather of current music. "I'm not one of the first, I am the first in my generation to carry it," he said. "I'm just the grandfather. I'm an old granddad now, if we talking music. Yeah, I'm a granddad, past OG. I'm like the OG's OG."
