After two years of marriage, Usher and his wife/manager, Grace Miguel, are reportedly splitting up. This separation comes shortly after the 39-year-old Grammy winner faced multiple lawsuits and allegations claiming he'd given multiple people herpes.
On Tuesday, the ex-couple released a statement, which said in part:
"After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives."
TMZ adds that divorce wasn't mentioned, but that it's pretty damn clear that that's where things are headed. The statement also added, "The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward."
The former couple had largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, but people eventually connected the dots when Usher was spotted in L.A. wearing a gold band on his wedding finger in late 2015.
