Wednesday afternoon, Mac Miller shared a photo of himself at work in the studio, prompting many to wonder what direction he's heading for the follow-up to his 2016 album The Divine Feminine.
One hint might be the string of videos he's been sharing of himself playing piano. In October, Mac shared a photo of himself sitting down to a new set of keys with the caption, "I’ve always wanted a white piano." Since then, he's made a habit of posting clips of himself sitting down at his new toy. So far, the results are sounding great.
The Divine Feminine featured piano work from musicians like Robert Glasper, but if these clips are anything to go on, he might be handling those duties himself on the next project. See some videos below.
