It’s been almost a year since we’ve seen a project from Jeremih—last year, he dropped his EP Cinco De MihYo—and over two years since his last studio album, 2015’s Late Nights, so we’re long overdue for some new music from the Chicago native.

In preparation for his EP The Chocolate Box, Jeremih has shared “Forever I’m Ready," which flips Zapp's "Be Alright," a record prominently sampled on 2Pac's "Keep Ya Head Up." The project will be rounded out with three more songs, “Cards Right,” “SMTS,” and “Nympho.”

“Graduated to the ‘Rari, pimped the old school/I done ran through new paper, girl, that’s old news/Fucking on the pool table, all we broke was rules,” Jeremih sings over a down tempo beat. In addition to the EP, Jeremih and Ty Dolla Sign’s joint project MihTy is set to come out this year, though it's unclear when.

Jeremih most recently hopped on Zaytoven’s “What You Think,” featuring Ty Dolla Sign and OJ da Juiceman. Back in December, frequent collaborators Jeremih and Chance the Rapper also released Merry Christmas Lil Mama: Re-Wrapped, an expanded, two-disc project of the 2016 version.

Jeremih's The Chocolate Box EP drops Thursday night (March 8).
